the road to entrepreneurship 2

a follow up on this

The other day I went to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) at Trafalgar Plaza along dela Costa Street in the Makati City CBD. What was I doing there? I came to finalize the registration of the name of the company I am putting up with friends.

I applied at the Business Name Registration System (BNRS) of the DTI, and then the whole process will send in an email informing you of your application. After a week or so they'll send an email either rejecting or approving the name you had applied for.

Fortunately, mine was approved, and so the DTI email instructed me to go to the DTI office at Trafalgar Plaza.

After an hour or so of travel, I was finally there, and the nice lady told me that my application is incomplete since I didn't have a middle name in the application. Oh. I forgot my mother's maternal name after all. All in less than five minutes.

So I was instructed to repeat the whole process. Ok.

Attaway to do business here in the Philippines.
