The December thingy

A quaint feeling comes over me when the cold breeze sets in and the -ber months have arrived. The quaint feeling of having air in my pockets, and nobody to cuddle to when the evening gets cold. The quaint feeling of having that desire to go to simbang gabi--that desire to be doused by the thought that you are a member of the Samahan ng mga Malalamig ang Pasko.
And i have read somewhere about the single season--when just about everyone you know breaks up with their lovey doves. My single season starts around the last week of November, and last until June. He he he.
My single season is economically practical, since it covers Christmas and Valentine's Day, although it is really painful to have no one around when practically everyone has someone... can't go to the malls, can't go to simbang gabi, can't go to parties... er....
